When preparing for an event , be it your wedding, high school reunion, or a Christmas Gala lets get you ready, set GLOW!!
One month before: Invest in a medical grade deeper peel that will cause the skin to exfoliate at a deeper level. Sloughing off the dead skin cells and allowing that skin to get “Out with the old, in with the NEW SKIN” This process is 5 – 10 days. Most deeper peels will not begin to exfoliate until 48 hours after the peel has been performed and then you have 3-5 days of peeling. Once your skin has finished peeling add your regular skincare routine back into your A.M. and P.M. program.
Coolsculpting is another must one month or even 6-7- weeks before a big event if you just have that stubborn fat that no matter how much weight you lose, or how much you work out it just loves you so very much that it just keeps on hanging on …. Coolsculpting targets that stubborn fat and through freezing and killing fat cells you can get rid of those love handles, inner thighs, outer thighs, abdomen, etc! Did you know that fat cells don’t like the cold and at a certain temperature they will freeze. ( let me just say if i had of known this years ago , I would have spent way more time in my freezer, just sayin)
Three Weeks Before: Injectables such as Botox and Filler should be three weeks before due to the risk of bruising, swelling and just simply giving the product time to settle in. Also this allows time to go back in for a touch up if necessary. Let your Nurse Injector help you make a decision which fillers are best for what you are wanting to achieve. You don’t want to got to your High School Reunion and no one recognize you because of what you’ve had done. They can help you with a consult and then schedule your injections accordingly.
The Week of The Event: This week is it…. Time to be dermaplaned and have a Diamond Glow treatment to have your skin glowing and follow with a Love Skin Glo Recovery Mask for the most beautiful glowing skin ever. If you have never had dermaplaning you’re in for a treat. See Dermaplaning for details.
